Tom Wilkin serves as Financial Advisor of Worl Precision, where he provides board-level financial oversight across the aerospace & defense precision machining platform. He focuses on financial diligence, accounting, governance, transaction execution, audit quality, risk management, and strategic financial oversight, helping ensure acquisitions and enterprise companies operate with disciplined financial controls and long-term value creation.

He has held senior leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), including U.S. REIT Leader and Audit Partner, leading one of the firm’s largest industry practices with responsibility for more than 100 partners and 1,100 professionals. He advised public company boards, audit committees, CFOs, and executive leadership teams on accounting, auditing, SEC reporting, governance, M&A transactions, IPOs, due diligence, risk management, and post-transaction integration across public REITs, private equity, and institutional real estate platforms.

Tom brings nearly 38 years of leadership at PwC, where he served as U.S. REIT Leader, Audit Partner, and trusted advisor to public company boards, audit committees, CFOs, and executive management teams. He led PwC’s national REIT practice of more than 100 partners and 1,100 professionals while overseeing audit quality, accounting policy, regulatory compliance, risk management, practice strategy, business development, and personnel leadership across one of the firm’s largest specialized industry practices.

Throughout his career, Tom has advised on numerous acquisitions, IPOs, REIT conversions, spin-offs, corporate restructurings, and real estate private equity transactions. His experience spans financial due diligence, transaction structuring, SEC reporting, technical accounting, SOX controls, post-transaction integration, governance, and regulatory compliance. He also served as U.S. lead service partner for a global alternative asset manager with more than $1 trillion in assets under management, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across complex investment platforms.

Tom possesses uncommon depth across accounting, auditing, risk management, and transaction advisory. During his tenure at PwC, he served in both the National Professional Services Group and PwC’s Risk Management network, advising on complex accounting matters, IFRS and U.S. GAAP convergence, SEC investigations, financial restatements, internal controls, and enterprise risk. He also authored PwC’s nationally recognized REIT IPO Guide, now in its fifth edition, which has become a leading technical resource for complex public market transactions.

His governance experience includes decades of direct engagement with corporate boards and audit committees. As lead audit partner on more than 20 public REITs and numerous additional public company engagements, he advised directors and executive teams on financial reporting, acquisitions, capital markets transactions, accounting policy, governance, and regulatory matters. He also represented PwC before NAREIT’s Board of Governors, the Best Financial Practices Council, and the Auditor Forum, while frequently speaking on accounting, governance, and transaction topics at national industry conferences.
